"Even though chance deals with the unexpected and the unplanned, it still has to be organised before it can exist" - Robert Rauschenberg

I experiment with painting that illustrates the freedom and expressiveness of the autonomous nature of liquids, whilst simultaneously allowing great control over my compositions. Additionally presenting the revelations of photography that finds the richness of alchemy within the painting. My work breaks out against the work of the abstract expressionists and process painters' as well as the work of the neo-plasticists. I combine elements from these disciplines to create my own crossbreed. The pieces are achieved by the mixture of acrylic paint and oil paints poured on canvas with a geometrised base coat composition. Battling two opposites of the art spectrum thus creates my own individual artwork.
